Still feeling grateful for our move to the Central Still feeling grateful for our move to the Central Coast in 2022. Such a lovely place to live. Spent the first 4 months this year enjoying the good weather visiting our beaches, lakes and vats with a few meals out and about. Last week we headed out on a wine tour for 5 hours Last week we headed out on a wine tour for 5 hours. The temperature hit 40 degrees so luckily we stayed hydrated! With champagne, moscato, reds, whites, at the very glam @vampbylisamcguiganwines , traditional wineries @pokolbin_estate_vineyard , @tamburlaineorganicwines and @mcleishestatewines then cheese and chocolate tasting with alcohol slushes and finally sparkling glittery liquids, gin and vodka at @smallmouthvodka… great fun with new friends, great guides, great weather and great drinks!

Just out of Kenilworth is the Fig Tree walk, a 1km Just out of Kenilworth is the Fig Tree walk, a 1km walk through the rainforest. It was 36 degrees so we weren’t up for any long walks, so this was perfect! The temperature noticeably dropped too under the canopy.
Day tripping to another little village in the Suns Day tripping to another little village in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland - this time Kenilworth. Headed there for the Saturday morning markets, then fossicked around in the shops looking at clothing, gifts and second hand goods, then a much needed stop at the Kenilworth Bakery - the biggest question was - savoury or sweet? Sweet won as I couldn’t resist their mouthwatering donuts… located about an hour from the coast or Brisbane, with a lovely scenic drive through gorgeous countryside.

- swims and ice skating fun while babysitting the niece and nephew… 
- fun at home with the cat and the plants and the pool
- watercolour get together at the lake 
- dinner catch ups with friends 
- birthday dinner and drinks and seeing Ganggajang perform 
- end of year kickboxing grading 
- Christmas family fun! 

I dropped the ball with posting here and on the blog for the last 6 months… aim to post in real time more regularly as 2025 begins!

Fiji! I blinked and it was the end of the year and Fiji! I blinked and it was the end of the year and I realised I never posted anything from this short break I had earlier this year. So here’s a quick summary of our week at @crowneplazafiji - recently renovated and reopened. We had a fun few days poolside relaxing with a few outings too… plus lots of cocktails and cocktails!
September in 90 seconds! Including lake and bush w September in 90 seconds! Including lake and bush walks, a trip to Manly to watch Icehouse perform, beach visits and sunsets, and some cat and food content to round out the first month of Spring. Yay!
Sneaking in a mid week trip to the Art Gallery las Sneaking in a mid week trip to the Art Gallery last month to see the Alfonso Mucha exhibition…it was the first time I had seen the new wing of the gallery too!
Last month while staying In Bundanoon we did a sho Last month while staying In Bundanoon we did a short (ok very short but very steep) bush walk to see some falls. All the walks in Morton NP seem to start at the top of the ridge and head straight down! Last time I hiked here I was about 10….
