The inaugural family road trip to QLD, stayed in Coffs Harbour, NSW for a week and then onto the Gold Coast and Dreamworld and Wet and Wild theme park. Finished it off in a hut on the Sunshine Coast. Saw the big banana, big pineapple, cuddled a koala, water slides – stuff of kid’s holiday dreams.

Flights: Sydney to Auckland and Wellington to Sydney with Qantas.

Flights: Sydney to Auckland and Wellington to Sydney with Qantas. Remember sitting in front of the wall in economy with my baby brother in one of those attachment bassinet things.
