My first serious trip was in 2005. A 4 week organised bus trip of Europe. Woo hoo! Spent months planning, saving and even enlisted the help of a travel agent. You could say I was travel naive, only being to Vanuatu and New Zealand before that and never on my own.
Fast forward and my how things have changed. Yes it’s true, you do get the travel bug. I had the most amazing time in Europe in 2005 and made life long friends. But all I wanted was more. More countries, more adventures!
So I committed to travelling OS as often as I could. No travel agents, I love the thrill of organising a trip, and I make the best colour coded itineraries ever!
I even did something I never thought I would ever choose to do, I lived in the UK for 8 months, working and backpacking. I have conquered fears through my travels and made heaps more friends, ticking off lots more countries.
But there is still so much to see…
